Chicken Ramen
There were 3 of us for dinner and ordered the Chicken Ramen - the pork belly was very tasty; and two orders of the Kakuni Chashu Bowls! Everything was sooo tasteful! The Chashu was so savory and great with rice! The big surprise was their innocent looking salad greens! The salad arrived and satisfied! The amazing house-made salad dressing was to die for! We loved it sooo much that I had to ask for some to take back home to the SF Bay Area! Thank you to our servers in Los Angeles on Friday, 11.03.2023 :) I'm blessed...Surprise!! I came to find out that Ramen Yamadaya have a location in our own San Francisco Japantown! We're happily adding both destinations to our List! Going next weekend and hope we have a location just as great as LA! Thank you, Ramen Yamadaya.
Tonkotsu Ramen
Perfectly balanced broth, rich and flavorful. Perfect noodle texture! I'm picky about my egg in ramen but they do it right - cooked white with a runny yolk. Love it!
Yamadaya Ramen
Yamadaya ramen is the best. Came here 4 years ago and it became thee Ramen that is my go to. Ive tried others and theyre just not the same. Brought over ten friends since then and all of them agreed and they continue to come back. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Will not stop coming here to get my favorite bowl of yamadaya ramen with extra porkbelly and thick noodles hell sauce
VEGAN
Very tasty, full bowl i coukdnt even finished it completely, the wait was fairly short and it was a good time overall
Yamada-Ya Buns
OMG! The chicken mango-habenero buns were delicious and I am dreaming of them right now...also, the best made ramen I have had in a while....there was something kind of fried crispy on top that sort of expanded into a dumpling-like consistency...freakin' magic what what this bowl was! Planning my next trip to Ramen Yamadaya!
Katsu Bento
Veggie Ramen as well, amazing and really didn't feel overpowered by salt as some other local experiences. The donning room, traditional is calling me to dine in next visit, really nice vibe and design.
Yamadaya Ramen
Ramen Yamadaya is a friendly establishment with great food. Dining indoors upstairs provides beautiful views of the peace plaza. Recommendations: [Shareable Starters] Chicken Kara-age: Japanese-style fried chicken styles: regular, osaka nanbanzuke, korean, mango- habanero. Ika-geso Kara-age : 3 deep fried squid head skewers . Tokyo Poutine: House made beef based 4 hour curry, cheese curds, steak fries. Takoyaki : Octopus hushpuppies (choose between regular or cheese & corn). [Ramen] Yamada : Tokyo-style ramen sea salt, pork bone broth, chashu, pork belly, mushrooms, bamboo shoots, tokyo onions, nori, soft egg, black garlic oil . Kakuni: Soy sauce, pork bone broth, pork belly, mushrooms, bamboo shoots, tokyo onions, nori, soft egg, black sesame oil. Spicy: Soy sauce, pork bone broth, chashu, pork belly, mushrooms, bamboo shoots, tokyo onions, nori, soft egg, togarashi bomb, chili oil . spice level: mild/medium/hot/fire/hell/death (hell spice is warm and cozy. this is my comfort zone) [ProTips] Select your noodle firmness: soft / regular / firm / extra firm * all noodles are cooked firm by default. The food is always amazing here. Hands down the best ramen we have ever had. So much so that every time we are in town, we always dine here! 10/10 everytine
Spicy Tantanmen
The right amount of spicy. You can tell they really put the time making such great ramen. I became a regular since it re-opened and the quality of food is great.
